LTC Partners Recognized with Granite State Warriors Award for Its Contributions to the Military Community

Portsmouth, NH (February 2020): LTC Partners was recently recognized for its positive impact on the military community by being named as recipient of the 2019 Granite State Warriors Award by the New Hampshire Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA-NH).

MOAA-NH established the Granite State Warriors Award (GSWA) in 2011 to annually recognize the "superb contributions" of a New Hampshire-based organization and/or a New Hampshire resident to the military. MOAA-NH President Bob Jaffin presented the award and citation to LTC Partners CEO Paul Forte at its meeting held January 25.

"LTC Partners serves more than one million veterans, service members, and family members as customers enrolled in the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program and the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program through BENEFEDS," Jaffin said, reading from the citation. "LTCP has also been the sponsor, initiator, and driving force behind the New Hampshire Military Coaching Alliance, a mentoring program that began in early 2019. The purpose of this effort is to pair retired veterans seeking to transition to the civilian workforce with private sector business leaders, who become their personal mentors."

"It is an honor to receive the 2019 Granite State Warriors Award on behalf of LTC Partners," Forte stated. "Beyond serving veterans as our customers, we seek to hire veterans, who tend to make excellent employees. Nearly 10 percent of our own workforce has served in the military, and they have been key contributors to our success and growth. I am proud to work with this group, and we will continue our commitment to support our military, veterans, and their families, who deserve our support and our gratitude."

As part of the presentation, Jaffin read letters of congratulations from U.S. Senators Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH).
