FedPoint Honored with Cornerstone Award

Portsmouth, NH (December 5, 2025)—Federal benefits administrator and marketplace operator FedPoint was named the recipient of Cornerstone VNA’s annual Cornerstone Award in recognition of its partnership and dedication to advancing Cornerstone’s mission of providing trusted, compassionate and expert health care.

Cornerstone first introduced the award in 2013 during the organization’s centennial year. Since then, it has been presented annually to recognize a local business, community member, volunteer, or staff member who demonstrated commitment to advancing Cornerstone’s mission.

“It is with pleasure that I announce the recipient of the 2025 Cornerstone Award is FedPoint,” said Jennifer Ufkin, RN, MSN, BC-NC, president and chief executive officer of Cornerstone VNA at the award ceremony held on November 19 at The Oaks in Somersworth, New Hampshire. “FedPoint has been a long-time supporter and friend to Cornerstone VNA. I love our partnership.”

Ufkin expressed gratitude to FedPoint for its financial support, which helped Cornerstone acquire essential equipment such as mobile centrifuge units and make significant technology upgrades, in addition to its support for Cornerstone’s caregiver outreach efforts and partnership with Cornerstone on several fundraising initiatives. She also noted that Cornerstone is pleased to be able to give back to FedPoint by serving as a part of its FedPoint Nursing Scholarship review panel.

“FedPoint is honored to be recognized as this year’s Cornerstone Award recipient,” said FedPoint’s Director of Corporate Giving Brian Frankenfield, who accepted the award on FedPoint’s behalf. “But more than the recognition itself, what truly matters is the partnership we’ve built and the care that Cornerstone provides every single day to people who need it most. From funding caregiver training and bereavement spaces to supporting clinical technology and encouraging future nurses into the profession, it’s always felt less like ‘giving back’ and more like joining a mission we deeply believe in.”

Marilyn Staff, RN, FedPoint’s director of care coordination, who also attended the event, concurred, saying, “These contributions strengthen the foundation of care, provide resources where they are most needed, and remind us that generosity is a powerful force for change.”
