Four FedPoint Employees Graduate From
Leadership Seacoast

Portsmouth, NH (June 15, 2022)—FedPoint® is pleased to announce that four more employees have graduated from Leadership Seacoast, bringing the total number of employees to matriculate through the program to 16.

Graduating were Compliance Administrator Anna Lee; Team Lead, Claims Administration, Marcy Ghirardi; Premium Administration Analyst Yvette Frost; and Account Research and Resolution Analyst Norman Henderson.

FedPoint shares Leadership Seacoast's commitment to effect lasting positive social change and is a proud program day sponsor each year. To support our employees' civic engagement, FedPoint provides full tuition for its employees who are accepted into the program.

Looking back on the program year, Ghirardi said, "Leadership Seacoast opened my mind and my heart. I now have the tools that I need to be a servant to my community. One of my biggest takeaways is that it is never too late in life to find a new place for yourself as a part of the world, big or small, around you."

On her experience, Lee said, "I had wanted to do Leadership Seacoast for some time, but I feel I was meant to wait until I worked at FedPoint and was a member of the class of 2022. I can't wait to build my new way of contributing to the community with the lenses developed in the program and am so thankful to FedPoint for the opportunity."

Leadership Seacoast is a nonprofit civic engagement organization dedicated to enriching and inspiring both emerging and existing leaders within the Seacoast. One of more than 3,000 community leadership programs in the United States, the mission of Leadership Seacoast is to develop a base of effective, knowledgeable, and engaged community members through the exploration of community issues and opportunities for personal involvement.

Through her participation in the program, Frost said, "I am more confident in my leadership abilities and more importantly in taking a stand for something or someone I believe in and sharing that excitement with others as I look forward to achieving a common goal," Frost said. "I am so happy to be part of this wonderful fraternity of Leadership Seacoast graduates and looking forward to my next chapter."

Over the course of the program, Ghirardi, Henderson, Frost, and Lee, along with their classmates, heard from experts in a variety of fields on topics such as health and human services, education, government, and criminal justice. They also gained insight into how business, community, and politics can integrate and form societies to effectively confront regional challenges.

"I am thankful beyond words for the opportunity to learn about many aspects of the New Hampshire Seacoast community from experts in their fields who shared their time and knowledge unselfishly," said Henderson. "I don't think it has all hit me yet. I only hope that I can somehow live up to the high Ideals of the program."
